How grief can heal the pain of family dysfunction (talk/workshop)
About the event
When we experience the ongoing pain of family dysfunction in our early lives, we often suppress feelings of loss, anger and sadness so we can survive. We don’t have the tools or understanding to process this kind of grief when we’re young, so we often bury the emotional pain of being hurt by the people we care about most.
We are delighted to be joined again by Josh Connolly for this session. Josh is a well-known speaker on the subject of healing and recovery from family dysfunction. He will provide a space where you can begin to acknowledge your grief, and tools and techniques that can help you to access and release buried and suppressed emotions.
This is a powerful practice which can, over time, rebuild a sense of belonging and acceptance, transforming pain into personal growth and healing.
