Mastering the Practice of Savouring: Rewiring your brain for gratitude and joy (workshop)
About the event
It’s not always easy feeling grateful and content in a world that’s constantly telling us to strive for more; a world where we are constantly comparing ourselves to others and yearning for what we don’t have.
That’s where the practice of ‘savouring’ comes in. According to neuroscientist and researcher Rick Hansen – who created the practice – savouring involves consciously enjoying and immersing ourselves in positive experiences and things we love. By intentionally focusing on feelings of pleasure, gratitude, and contentment, we actually strengthen the neural pathways associated with wellbeing, opening us up to feeling more joy and fulfilment in every aspect of our lives.
In this practical workshop, you will learn how to practice savouring – a simple technique that will transform your relationship with the world.
