We are delighted to be joined by Professor Antonio Pascual-Leone as he delves into the concept of emotional intelligence and offers practical strategies for processing unresolved emotions. He introduces the Emotion Change Lab, a three-step process aimed at helping individuals to navigate their emotional landscapes with clarity and compassion. Through acknowledging, exploring, and transforming emotions, Professor Pascual-Leone emphasises the importance of releasing emotional baggage to foster emotional wellbeing and resilience.
Antonio Pascual-Leone is a professor in Psychology at the University of Windsor, Canada, where he is director of the Emotion Change Lab, and is honorary professor of Psychiatry at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He has published seminal contributions to theory and research of emotion focused therapy and is regarded as a world expert in emotional processing. His TEDx talk on “How to get over the end of a relationship,” has been viewed over 5 million times.
In this session, Professor Pascual-Leone will offers participants a practical roadmap for resolving unresolved emotions and releasing emotional baggage. Professor Pascual-Leone will be interviewed by Dr. Lesel Dawson, an Associate Professor at the University of Bristol and a co-director of Good Grief Festival.
