Kaan Aydin
Kaan, a London-born artist raised in Istanbul, blends cultural influences from both cities in his multifaceted artistic journey. Initially drawn to theatre, he explored various roles before pursuing a degree in Film and TV at Istanbul Bilgi University. His fascination with human psychology led him to pursue a second degree in Psychology at the University of London.
Through his art, Kaan delves into themes of queerness, mental health, and identity, aiming to provoke introspection in his audience. He openly discusses his struggles with mental health, advocating for awareness and understanding. As he prepares to publish his debut poetry book, “Bir Kovuğun Şefkatinde” (In the Compassion of a Nest), Kaan invites readers on a journey of emotion and empathy, leaving behind a legacy of authenticity and profound introspection.
