Roots Before Branches: Cultivating Resilience in an Overwhelming World

About the event
Right now, many people are experiencing a pervasive sense of overwhelm, fragmentation and emotional depletion. If you’re feeling stretched thin or like life has left you uprooted, this workshop is for you. Maybe you’ve been navigating grief, loss, or a major transition and are struggling to find a sense of steadiness amidst the chaos. If so, you’re not alone.
Together, we’ll explore:
● Redefining resilience, not as pushing through or staying endlessly productive, but as a state of groundedness and emotional presence.
● Reconnecting with the sources of strength that nourish and sustain us.
● Creating space to listen inward, learning to trust the wisdom of pause, quiet and steady unfolding.
● Letting go of the myth that we have to be “fine” all the time, and practicing being human instead – messy, brilliant, tired and still growing.
This session isn’t about fixing you, because you’re not broken. It’s about offering tools and space to help you reconnect with your roots, so you can remain grounded in a shifting world.
As part of this session, we’ll be doing a drawing-based reflection exercise. No artistic skill is needed – just bring along something to draw or write with, and a sheet of paper.
