Loving Kindness: A radical practice for self-compassion (workshop)
About the event
Loving Kindness (or Metta) is a powerful Buddhist practice that helps us heal emotional wounds and transform our relationship with ourselves and others. By offering ourselves compassion, we begin to break free from self-criticism and open our hearts. Loving Kindness is not about perfection or forced sentiment but about cultivating a sincere, open-hearted awareness toward ourselves and the world. Through this practice, we develop deeper empathy, reduce suffering, and connect with the inherent goodness within all beings.
This is a simple practice which has the power to completely transform our relationships – both with ourselves and with those around us. In this workshop, you will learn how to practice Metta with a short introduction to the technique followed by a practical session.
